Occupation: Executive Director, Homeless Youth Foundation.

Education: B.S., Business Management; Nursing Certificate.

Time in Nevada: Lifelong resident

Issues: I will work to ways to use taxpayer dollars most effectively, while ensuring that the neediest in our community are not ignored. I will be focused on solid government stewardship and providing solutions to our infrastructure issues, public safety demands, supporting economic development and creating parks and recreation facilities for our citizens.

Qualifications: Working for GE Capital, I built strong business and financial management skills. As the founder and then executive director of the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, I learned how to address critical problems facing our community by building coalitions in the public and private sectors.

Having volunteered countless hours in our community as a citizen advisor for Henderson, board member for the Henderson Boys and Girls Club and treasurer for the Arts Council of Henderson, I have a deep understanding of the needs in our community.

What sets you apart from your opponents: I believe my dedication to our community, my continued record of service in Southern Nevada and my life experience make me the best candidate for the seat. As a 15-year resident and graduate of Leadership Henderson, I understand the needs of our city.

No matter what the outcome of the election, I plan to continue working to improve our community and support the people of Henderson.
