Issues: We have to see what the stimulus package will bring to Henderson, but we also have to limit spending and control costs while addressing traffic, crime and growth.

We also have to take care of our seniors and educate our children.

Qualifications: I have lived in Henderson and raised two children in the education system in Clark County, and now that I am retired, I feel that I have the energy and time to dedicate to Henderson. I want to volunteer and make a difference, no matter how small. I even helped Jack Clark get elected years ago and what qualifications did he have for the job?

What sets you apart from your opponents: I have no party affiliation. Although I am a registered Republican, I have always voted for the person, and I am older and wiser and do not believe in the good 'ole boys network that now runs some of the political world in Nevada.

I am for truth, justice and the American way, but I'm not Superman.
