The chief executive of AIG says the company must pay bonuses to attract and retain the high caliber of employees the business requires.
Observation 1: If the current crop of geniuses is so great, why is the company ready to go under?
Observation 2: Who are the smart ones selecting the bright people the company can’t live without?
Observation 3: How could the Republican administration, under President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, be so stupid as to let these clowns at AIG operate anything bigger than a lemonade stand?
Observation 4: Let them fail, lock up all of the executives, fire the rest of the “geniuses,” and hire some of the millions of people who are unemployed to run whatever is left before we and the Chinese go bust!
