Wade J. Simpson, AIA, LEED AP, is a Las Vegas native who has been with Pugsley. Simpson. Coulter. Architects since 1992. He became a partner in 2003. Simpson lends his leadership to many of the firm’s major projects, serving as principal in charge on multiple educational, residential, mixed-use and commercial projects, including the CCSD’s Career and Technical Academies and Henderson’s Fleet Maintenance building. Simpson has been involved with architecture since the age of 13, and he won his first design competition as a sophomore in high school. He is active in the local and state chapters of the American Institute of Architects, having served as president of both chapters. He is National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certified and also holds Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification, reflecting his commitment to sustainable design. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree from The University of Utah and is a registered architect in Nevada and Utah.
