W. Rick Sellers, AIA, NCARB, is a principal and vice president of Carpenter Sellers Architects, formed in 1986 in Las Vegas. He brings more than 30 years of architectural experience and has designed projects for the University of Phoenix, nationwide, including the 660,000-square-foot Riverpoint Center in Phoenix, the Arlen Ness Motorcycle Showroom and Core Construction headquarters targeting LEED Gold in Las Vegas. He has collaborated with his partners to focus the studio’s efforts on developing state-of-the-art systems innovating the creative design process and addressing subsequent construction document and administration phases. Sellers received the 1997 American Institute of Architects Nevada Young Architect citation and donates his time to the Boy Scouts of America. He has served as a juror for several regional AIA, Southwest Contractor and Council of Educational Facility Planners Interantional design award competitions.
