Keith D. Russell is director of CommCap Advisors, a commercial mortgage banking firm located in Henderson, Nev. CommCap represents a wide variety of real estate debt and equity sources, including insurance companies, pension funds, banks and opportunistic capital sources. Russell has been a mortgage banker in Southern Nevada since 1996, when he founded Keystone Capital Group. He sold his firm to GMAC Commercial Mortgage in 2001 and was senior vice president and branch manager for GMAC and its successor Capmark Finance until founding CommCap Advisors in late 2006. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Russell headed up the national mortgage lending program for Penn Mutual Life in Philadelphia. He has also held senior lending positions for Pacific Life in its Newport Beach, Calif., Chicago and Seattle regional offices. Russell is a licensed Nevada broker-salesperson and is a member of the local chapters of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and The Urban Land Institute. He is a graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa.
