John Ramous has been involved with commercial real estate for more than 18 years. He has been vice president of operations for Harsch Investment Properties’ Las Vegas regional office since 2003, where he oversees the 7.5 million square-foot portfolio of business parks and a staff of more than 60 employees serving over 1,300 businesses throughout the valley. Harsch’s most recent development projects include the 238,000 square-foot expansion at Henderson Commerce Center and the 300,000 square-foot redevelopment of Green Valley Business Center. Since moving to Las Vegas in 2003, Ramous has been active with the Southern Nevada chapter of NAIOP and is currently serving on the board of directors and chairs the government affairs committee. He is currently a trustee for the Henderson Development Association (HDA) and is active with the local chapters of SIOR and the Urban Land Institute. Ramous also serves on the board of directors of The Nevada Ballet Theater. Recently, he was recognized as NAIOP’s 2008 Principal of the Year. Prior to moving to Nevada, he spent five years in Chicago as a portfolio manager for First Industrial Realty Trust. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in finance and real estate from the University of Connecticut and currently resides in Las Vegas with his wife Megan and three children, Luke, Caroline and William.
