As a principal at Pugsley. Simpson. Coulter. Architects, David Pugsley, AIA, LEED AP, uses his understanding of building technology and experience with design solutions to create innovative projects that precisely meet client needs. Public facility design has been a particular emphasis over the past several years. Major projects include the Lied Library and the Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the West Charleston Public Library, the administration headquarters for the Las Vegas Valley Water District and prototype elementary and middle schools for the Clark County School District. Pugsley has spent most of his life in Las Vegas and has a long history of community involvements. Professionally, he is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, the Council of Educational Facility Planners International and the Construction Specifications Council. He holds a Bachelor of Science in economics and a master’s degree in architecture from The University of Utah.
