David Ray is president of ServiceMax Cleaning Systems, a Las Vegas-based commercial cleaning company. ServiceMax’s mission is to do business as professionals for professionals. Every aspect of how ServiceMax operates has the clients’ best interest in mind. Currently, ServiceMax has more than 165 employees. Areas cleaned nightly range from 20,000 square feet to 300,000 square feet with more than 3.2 million square feet cleaned every night. ServiceMax is also the first cleaning company in the valley to offer “green” cleaning methods for commercial properties. Ray has past involvement in CREW Southern Nevada and was named member of the year in 2004. He is a founding member of the Building Owners and Managers Association of Southern Nevada and served on its board of directors for eight years. In addition, Ray currently is serving as a board member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Institute of Realty Management (industry partner), the Sierra Club (donor for five years), Information Systems Security Association, Cleaning Management Institute and donates to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association, St. Jude’s and other local charities yearly. Ray has a goal of increasing his donations to be a certified 1 percent for the planet donor by 2011.
