We could use Palin as president in 2012

What is it about Sarah Palin that has some folks so upset that they keep bashing her? What did she do wrong?
First of all, she didn’t ask to be John McCain’s running mate on the Republican ticket in 2008. McCain and the Republican Party came to her, so she did what any good American would do — feel honored and accept.
She was asked to be the vice presidential nominee because she had an outstanding record as governor. If she ever became vice president or (gasp) president, she might actually get the United States in the same shape, and we couldn’t stand that, could we?
I hope she does run for president in 2012. We are going to need someone with her common sense to try to get us back on track after President Barack Obama is through.
So thanks. Any kind of letter to the editor about Palin, positive or negative, keeps her in the limelight — and that is a good thing.

Sarah Palin has done nothing wrong the problem is that she will not play ball like Washington D.C. wants it to be played she is a threat to the status quo.
SHE DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG JUST that the democrats had their person picked out already. They had to bash her bc she was the only other legitimate chose to win. a woman or a black man? A strong, hot, mother of 5? and woman are 50% of the population... the democrats would have gotten CRUSHED! the democrats will bring up a mom in the 2016 election you watch bc the republicans are bringing palin for a few years you an bet the farm on that!
Are you trying to be funny? You better stop. This woman has shown nothing but being a beauty queen and entertainer for the mal-informed/mal-contents, totally unaware of the world outside. As a small town girl yes, she achieved much, but qualified as world figure, definitely no and she proved that and continues to do so!
Anyone who takes Sarah Palin seriously cannot be taken seriously themselves. Keep on fancy pageant-walkin'. Sarah Palin has absolutely no grasp of the issues, no inclination to study them, and cannot take any criticism. The same thing can be said of her supporters. Fortunately, she is done. She quit.
Palin has some problems being truthful. e.g.
Palin lied when she said the dismissal of her public safety commissioner, Walt Monegan, had nothing to do with his refusal to fire state trooper Mike Wooten; in fact, the Branchflower Report concluded that she repeatedly abused her power when dealing with both men.
Palin lied when she insisted that the Branchflower Report "showed there was no unlawful or unethical activity on my part"; in fact, that report prominently stated, "Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act."
Palin lied when she repeatedly claimed to have said, "Thanks, but no thanks" to the Bridge to Nowhere; in fact, she openly campaigned for the federal project when running for governor.
Palin lied when she wrote in the NYT that a comprehensive review by Alaska wildlife officials showed that polar bears were not endangered; in fact, email correspondence between those scientists showed the opposite.
Palin lied when she claimed in her convention speech that an oil gas pipeline "began" under her guidance; in fact, the pipeline was years from breaking ground, if at all.
Palin lied when she told Charlie Gibson that she does not pass judgment on gay people; in fact, she opposes all rights between gay spouses and belongs to a church that promotes conversion therapy.
Palin lied when she claimed that Alaska produces 20 percent of the country's domestic energy supply; in fact, the actual figures, based on any interpretation of her words, are much, much lower.
Palin lied when she recalled asking her daughters to vote on whether she should accept the VP offer; in fact, her story contradicts details given by her husband, the McCain campaign, and even Palin herself. (She later added another version.)
Palin lied when she claimed to have taken a voluntary pay cut as mayor; in fact, as councilmember she had voted against a raise for the mayor, but subsequent raises had taken effect by the time she was mayor.
Palin lied when she suggested to Katie Couric that she was involved in trade missions with Russia; in fact, she has never even met with Russian officials.
Palin lied when asked about the $150,000 worth of clothes provided by the RNC. Palin lied when she denied having participated in a clothes audit with campaign laywers; in fact, the Washington Times later confirmed those details.
Palin lied when she claimed that Alaska has spent "millions of dollars" on litigation related to her ethics complaints; in fact, that figure is much, much lower, and she had initiated the most expensive inquiry.
Palin lied when she denied that the Alaska Independence Party supports secession and denied that her husband had been a member; in fact, even the McCain campaign noted that the party's very existence is based on secession and that Todd Palin was a member for seven years.

I hope Palin does run in 2012. Her ignorance of any relevant issues is incredable. A pretty face yes - nice house, nobody home. She helps the Democrats every time she opens her mouth. Besides, I figure she will be in jail by 2012, playing housewife with her cell-mate "momma" soon enough.

The woman is not all that bright or aware of what's going on in national and world politics.
Please don't vote in any election if you still haven't yet figured that out about Palin. It's not good for our society when people vote for candidates based on their own wishful thinking that makes them believe those candidates will be the people you want them to be. They are the way they are, not the way you fantasize them. Please find out a little more about candidates before you vote.
I have nothing against Sarah Palin. Frankly its not her fault that she is in over her head.
The person who created this fiasco is John McCain. He selected her as his thought was to take advantage of all the women who were disappointed that Hillary Clinton didnt get the nomination. Its as simple as that.
To continue this charade is self defeating to our country. When a person is in over their head the first thing that happens is major stress evidenced by the fact that her hair is thinning to a point where its a problem. Thats why she is quitting.
In submarine warfare during WW2 one of the greatest fears was in getting wounded . That was due to the fact they would have to be operated on by a medic who really wasnt qualified to do surgery. Imagine that set of circumstances. Today we are faced with so many multiple threats to our country that we need professional and knowledgeable people to run our government. Even John McCain would be in over his head at this point let alone god forbid Sarah Palin.
This is dumb. These people are saying that because Sarah Palin is disliked by the Democrats that she would make a great President? That's like saying Al Franken would make a great President because the Republicans hate him. The Republicans should nominate a smart, capable leader, not some dimwit who thinks Africa is a country.
I've said it before: Sarah Palin represents everything that is wrong with the Republican Party today. Not least of which is her being a (self-proclaimed) person of faith who thinks it is right and proper to impose her beliefs on everyone through laws and the courts.
I simply can not believe that McCain picked Palin himself, but rather had her forced on him by the Party leadership in an effort to capture dis-affected Hillary supporters. Palin was even more unsuitable than Obama, which is saying something.
Sarah Palin is a perfect example of where the GOP now finds irself.......clueless, with out leadership and lost in the political wilderness.
I hope the GOP nominates Palin for president in 2012. The Democrats will win by even larger margins that they did last year. The woman is actually a female George W. Bush........

Palin got a natural gas pipeline done--the Trans-Canada Alaska gas line. She's done more for energy production than any of the current dumbocrat senators with the exception of Robert Byrd.

I am not a Palin fan, however in response to Willie Tanner and her being a liar, I have this question about BHO, what HASN'T he lied about? In fact his whole campain was a lie, which is how he got elected. I agree Palin will shake up the so called republican party, but she too, like BHO, does not have any qualification to be president. I am a conservative and know I will lose a lot of conservative friends over not backing Palin, but she is not a good choice for President and would most likely lose in '12. As much as I hate to say it...at this point I would take Mickey Mouse or even Goofy over our current admin..
Maybe we could get her to move to Vegas and run against Reid. Or Gibbons. Failing that, take over Ensign's seat.
Nevada has gold and silver mines. Alaskans get a check every year from the oil miners. She can get us a check from the precious metal miners. I'm up for that.
And if she can't get elected to public office here in Nevada, there's always an opening in Pahrump.

2009 - April - TransCanada submitted a pre-filing request to FERC for the Alaska section of the project.
2010 July - Conclude initial binding open season.
2012 October - Apply for FERC certificates of public convenience and necessity to authorize the construction and operation of the Alaska Section and gas treatment plant.
2014 - November - Project sanction.
2016 - April - On-site construction expected to begin.
2018 - September - Anticipate Alaska Pipeline Project in-service.

It really concerns me that the average Republican is so misinformed that they could compare Palin to a Romney or Huckabee. It truly scares me that so many deluded people consider the race for the presidency to be a 'popularity' contest.
This is NOT a beauty pageant, this is the most powerful position in the history of the world (except maybe Caesar Augustus) and you want to put the vacuous airhead from Alaska in that job?

Wow, I for one would love to see Sarah Palin run for President.... mostly for the comedic value and a sure win for the dems. I love watching her stumble, swagger, and wink, she reminds me of a female verison of George W, only way prettier. Now if you want to talk hot Tiny Fey rocks and is a way better SP than SP herself! Hey, everybody! I'm so excited about Palin for President of the United States of America in 2012. I have admired her integrity and courage since the moment she appeared -- the "anti-Obama." I am so sick and tired of Obama's negativity, and the way that he seems to have a creepy intention to control people. Nobody can, honestly, say they feel truly inspired or alive as a result of Obama... quite the contrary. Then, there's Palin... who offers a taste of true "We the People" Liberty... something we haven't truly gotten back in touch with here, in the greatest country on Earth, in a long while. I love Sarah Palin, will vote for her, and look forward to the reformation of this great country. :)

After graduating from high school in 1982, Sarah Palin enrolled at Hawaii Pacific College in Honolulu. She left after one semester and transferred to North Idaho Community College. After attending North Idaho Community College for two semesters majoring in general studies, Palin competed in and won the Miss Wasilla Pageant, then finished third in the 1984 Miss Alaska pageant receiving the "Miss Congeniality" award. In 1984, Palin transferred to the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, After two semesters at UI, Palin returned to Alaska and attended Matanuska-Susitna Community College for one term. She returned to the University of Idaho in January 1986, where she spent three semesters completing her bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism, graduating in May, 1987.
In 1988, she worked as a sports reporter for KTUU-TV and KTVA-TV in Anchorage, and for the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman as a sports reporter. She also helped in her husband's commercial fishing business.
Following high school, Barack Obama moved to Los Angeles in 1979 to attend Occidental College. After two years he transferred in 1981 to Columbia University in New York City, where he majored in political science with a specialization in international relations and graduated with a B.A. in 1983. (where in the hell is he going to use that useless area of expertise)
Obama entered Harvard Law School in late 1988. He was selected as an editor of the Harvard Law Review at the end of his first year, and president of the journal in his second year. Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review gained national media attention. (big deal, editor of some college newspaper/Palin wrote promos for the Wasilla Bait Shop)
After graduating with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1991 Obama served as a professor of constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School; as a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996, and as a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004. (Sarah didn't waste her time on frivolous stuff like teaching and lecturing. She was on the alumni committee at Matanuska-Susitna Community College)

Will not take responsibility for anything he does, still blames other people.
He takes offense to any type of scrutiny.
Wants his agenda passed quickly without scrutiny.
Made deals with the UAW because they helped get him elected.
Now we must look at Cap & Trade. Please pay attention to those that will make money on Cap & Trade. They are large campaign contributors.
Sarah Palin has more experience, leadership qualities and courage.
Ran a state sucessfully.
Stands up to scrutiny and what she believes in...... while Obama hides behind his TelePrompTer.

2. She reportedly had $700,000 in donations. Probably from the Democratic National Committee. Were I the democraps, I would put all of my money into Palin. She could lose against any candidate.
3. She is a moron. Anyone that can't see that she's a moron, is probably also a moron. If this is the best and brightest, then we're doomed. It would be better to get a orangutan with a dartboard to speak and make our decisions.
4. Obama must be thrilled at the prospect of a race against Palin in 2012. Since he can't lose, he could continue bankrupting the country.

She once claimed to have a bunch of degrees when she did not.
She has been caught more than one time stealing speeches from other people.
She once was caught in college for stealing work from someone else.
