An Amber Alert is still in effect today for four missing children who officials believe were abducted Thursday or Friday in Washoe County.

Officials say the children might be with their non-custodial mother, Claire Tourand.

Tourand was scheduled to meet with Social Services on Friday about custody of the children. After she failed to show at the meeting, investigators determined that Tourand had left her home in the previous 24 hours with the children.

Tourand was last seen driving a white, 1998 Mercury Sable with Nevada license plate "369 SDH."

Authorities ask that anyone who sees the vehicle or has information on the whereabouts of Tourard or her children call 911.

The children are Ivan Mata-Martinez, 9, Jakelyne Mata-Martinez, 8, Megan Mata-Martinez, 7, and Tyson Mata-Martinez, 4.

Tourand, 34, is described as a white, about 5-feet-8-inches tall and about 220 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
