Obit: Ann Edmondson

Ann Marie Whissing Petersen Edmondson, 78, passed away June 29.
She was born in Ohio Oct. 30, 1930, to Hans and Kristina Petersen.
She was a mother and volunteer for Camp Fire Girls, Girl Scouts and the PTA. She was a representative for Beauty Counselor and a member of the Boulder City chapter of Beta Kappa Phi.
Before moving to Boulder City in 1965, she organized food and clothing drives for migrant workers and poor families in Needles and Blythe, Calif.
She is survived by her children Mary and Jim Wammack, Laurie and Michael Adams, and Grover C. and Susan Edmondson; grandchildren Katherine and Mark Lyon, Christina and William Freshour, Annette and Jamie Mullis, Sarah and Brett Tambakis, Rhyan Adams, Taylor Adams and Vince Neumiller; great-grandchildren Maria and Tyler Walker, Tyler and Mikel Lyon, Jennifer Freshour, Liliana Mullis, Sabrina and Brett Tambakis.
She was preceded by her husband, Grover C. Edmondson, two daughters and two brothers.
The family requests memorial gifts go to the March of Dimes.
Services are 9 a.m. July 2 at the Boulder City Cemetery gazebo, 551 Adams Blvd. Boulder City Family Mortuary handled the arrangements.
