So now that we have three constitutional officers squabbling over a simple issue — how to get stimulus dollars to people who need them — the remaining question is: How do we get the other three involved, too? Gov. Jim Gibbons issued that executive order to try to show lawmakers and Controller Kim Wallin who’s boss. Now he has asked Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto to weigh in on the legalities of it all. Perhaps Treasurer Kate Marshall could tell us how much this is all costing the state. Secretary of State Ross Miller could see if all the money is going into the right accounts. And Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki could ask the economic development and tourism commissions if this is hurting the state. See, now everyone gets to play.
