Mayor Oscar Goodman floated his possible gubernatorial candidacy again Thursday, raising hopes for his sycophants that surely will be dashed again. And he ain’t afraid of Brian Sandoval: “If I’m running, I’m running as a nonpartisan,” Goodman said Thursday. “It doesn’t matter to me who the Republican nominee would be or who the Democratic nominee would be. I would be running on my own record. I wouldn’t intend to do anything different than I have in my other three elections. I won’t even mention my opponents. They’re irrelevant to me.” Just about as irrelevant as his many pronouncements about his sure-to-be-non-candidacy. But, at the risk of repeating myself, I say again: Run, Oscar, run. Please.
