Media outlets reported Monday that details are set for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s tele-town-hall meeting Aug. 28. To wit: If you have a Nevada phone number, you can register on the Web. If you fill out a form, you can expect a phone call shortly before the session begins. Reid has said he wants to have a civilized discussion, as opposed to the screaming and yelling at so many town halls this summer. Judging by the screaming and yelling by those who posted after the Sun version of the story, he has a lot to be worried about. Oh, and did anyone check the calendar to see what day of the week Aug. 28 is? It’s a Friday. A Friday night meeting. I bet a lot of people will be home. Very clever.
