Flashpoint:

Talk about a good news/bad news …

Talk about a good news/bad news day for Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki. First, the Board of Examiners approved a two-year, $415,000 contract with Las Vegas lawyer Dominic Gentile to act as a special prosecutor in the case. Of all the people I can think of whom I would not want to be on the other side of a court case from me, I would put Gentile in the top 5. But shortly thereafter, Judge Elissa Cadish had to recuse herself from the case after making several rulings, saying she had worked with an attorney advising Krolicki. From the AP: “It was unclear if existing rulings, including Cadish’s disqualification of the attorney general’s office from prosecuting the case, will remain in effect or be reconsidered by a new judge.” Now what?
