Metro Lt. Robert Sebby has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation.
The lieutenant, who was placed on leave Aug. 7, has worked for Metro since 1989 and was most recently assigned to the department’s financial crimes section.
Assistant Sheriff Ray Flynn, who oversees Internal Affairs, would not comment further on the pending investigation. Sebby will continue to collect his salary during the investigation.

It's a lot more serious than jaywalking. He's a lieutenant, for crying out loud.
hey whatd the copper do
I agree with rejco100, release the charge.
afveteran, I don't care if he is the King, if he is suspended WITH PAY there is a reason.
They won't release any info because:
1. It's a personnel matter and he has rights.
2. Releasing info would probably ruin their investigation. They don't want to tip off anyone else who may be involved.
I would hope that he has to return his pay IF he is later found guilty and fired. If found innocent, then he should keep the pay.
There is something to be said about carma...
It really does not matter what he did, if he is in the 'inner circle' of staff he will skate on the investigation. If he is not in the 'circle' they will cut him loose to make example and plus, it's their percetion, that it looks good for the public to hammer an officer. The staff and the public need to look at the indiscretions of department executive staff ...HYPOCRITES....
