‘Certificate of Live Birth’ is the real deal

A letter from Owen Nelson in Thursday’s Las Vegas Sun accused President Barack Obama of hiding his real birth certificate.
Like the president, I was born in Hawaii and I have a “Certificate of Live Birth.” That document is a real birth certificate that includes the embossed seal of the state of Hawaii.
This same certificate has been accepted by the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Social Security Administration and the United States Navy.
It should be good enough for Mr. Nelson.

What "O" has online is a "CertificaTION" of Live Birth from Honolulu. It is not the same as the more
desirable, informative "Certificate of Live birth"
that Hawaii issues to its legitimate requesting citizens; Notice the difference:

The questions won't go away until obama releases his hidden records. All he has to do is make the following official public statement,
"I Barack Obama authorize the State of Hawaii to release and make public all of my records on file."
That's it. Issue over. But he won't because he's a fraud!! Obama knows that millions of citizens want to see it yet he continues to hide it. What and why is he hiding?
And maybe more disturbing is why don't BHO's supporters want to know the whole truth, especially since there's a reward of $100,000 for proof that Obama is a "natural born" citizen of the United States? The answer is that Obama's very own supporters also know he's a fraud!

Let's assume for a moment that you are correct - that Barry's COLB is valid and true. Either, a.) it can not be trusted since Hawaii allowed parents and grandparents to provide the data for babies not born in hospitals and we can not verify Barry's hospital birth or b.) it automatically disqualifies him as the POTUS due to Article II, Section 1, Paragraph 5 which requires a "natural born citizen". The defacto standard of the day was Vattel's "Law of Nations" which defined that term as:
"2. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens.
3. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights."
Item two required that BOTH parents be citizens while item 3 indicates that Barry followed the condition of his father which was a British subject - THE SPECIFIC CONDITION that our forefathers feared.
However you look at it, Barry is a usurper and a traitor. I am having a very hard time understanding why our judicial and legislative branches of government have failed to uphold the Constitution. Every Supreme Court justice and every Representative/Senator has failed to uphold their oaths of office and should be impeached!

Your ignorance is showing, Wayne, and you really shouldn't throw stones when you're so vulnerable. Either the announcements in the newspapers were a result of the registration of birth (reported by the hospital to the news agencies) or were printed at the behest of Barry's mother who likely provided the birth information to the Hawaiian authorities and not the result of some nefarious plot by outsiders.

He's trying to hide his bowling scores from when he was a teenager. They were in a box with his birth certificate and the bowling league he was in in Kenya lost all the records. Hope this helps keep it going until the 2010 elections.

This whole thing about his citizenship is crazy and he already showed his birth certificate. The birters wouldn't believe Obama was born in the US if they were shown footage of his birth in Honolulu.

Actually, the defacto standard of the day was English common law. No known English translation of Vattel used the term "natural-born citizen" until 10 years after the Constitution was ratified. According to English common law, "natural born" meant simply born within the nation's territory. Jus soli, rather than Vattel's unusual combination of jus soli and jus sanguinis.

He provided documentation. That's what the Certification of Live Birth is. A better question is why no other Presidential or Vice-Presidential candidate in our history has been required to produce in-depth documentation of their citizenship.
As for Major Cook, he was an idiot. He tried to set up a situation to embarrass Obama, and the Army just did what they were required to do, by the terms of his commission. Then, of course, the customer, the DoD, said they didn't want him working on their project any more, since he was obviously not trustworthy. Happens to contractors all the time, for even less reason.
As for Mr. Curry's "Certificate of Live Birth", I'm left wondering if that isn't actually a "Certification of Live Birth". Like Obama's.

Hawaii stopped issuing copies of the "Certificate of Live Birth" years ago, after they computerized their records in 2001. All they issue now is the "Certification of Live Birth".

Like you, and many others, they have trouble keeping track of the correct terminology. The Certification of Live Birth is Hawaii's official birth certificate. From your link: "The standard 'Certification of Live Birth' that Hawai'i health officials now issue....The modern-day birth certificates issued to anyone seeking their Hawai'i birth records have spaces for the names and races of the parents, as well as information such as the time of birth." It's good for any official purpose, including getting a passport and proving citizenship.

Everyone seems to miss the point of law. It doesn't matter if he was born on the White House lawn. What matters is his parents eligibility. BO's father was a Kenyan. In 1961 Kenya was a British Protectorate. His mother was knocked up when she was 17. For BO to be a natural born US citizen, his mother would have to live 5 continuous years prior to his birth in the United States. His father would have to have been born in the US. The founding fathers knew if a child was born to a parent from a foreign nation, his allegiance could be deviated.
No Buster Lhode, the article rules stating eligibility criteria to be President and Vice President of the United States must be 'natural born citizen', which means born within the United States and US territorial land/zone....
The only waiver that is granted from the 'natural born citizen' requirement is if a Presidential or VP candidate was born prior to July 4, 1776 when the country was formed, however it is very clear that a president and vice president of the US has to be 'natural born'....
'Naturalized citizen' means a child born outside the United States and US territorial land/zone while the parent(s) is/are Citizen(s) of the United States which is what you are referring to...
A child under this criteria is not considered a natural born citizen however the child is considered a US Citizen from birth.
John McCain fits the description as 'natural born citizen' , although he was born in Panama at the Naval Hospital ....which was located within the Panama Canal Zone and was considered a US Territory at the time.
Barack Obama's half sister is considered a 'naturalized citizen', as she was born in Indonesia and has a Hawaii certification birth certificate on record.
What people refuse to acknowledge about Obama's or any one elses birth certificate is that it is NOT public record, the vital statistics document is classified as such, a vital statistic document. Only certain agencies and the certificate holder or birth parents or legal guardian can obtain a certified copy of the document associated with the birth child.....
The State of Hawaii, Barack Obama, the Federal Government, etc. does NOT have to disclose Barack's birth certificate to the public.
In order to be a Presidential or VP candidate of the US, there is extensive background checks yanno to determine place of birth and eligibility, if Obama weren't born in the US like a lot of people claim on this rumor.. he couldnt be a presidential candidate, period.
Also, only a US Senator has the power by a majority vote of senators to supercede or interprit a written section or article rule on this matter.
Which by the way any US Senator to hold office is not required to be either a natural born or naturalized citizen of the United States...their minimum requirement to hold their office position is that they must have US Citizenship status for 14 years (with at least 9 consecutive years in that 14 year span residing within the US) to be eligible as a US Senator candidate...and whats real sickning is there is a lot of nepotism in the US Senate rules as any US Senator can appoint their position to anyone... and close to half of ''first day in the office new senators'' were actually appointed to begin with, but many ''new'' senators get re-elected after the current 6 year term cycle is exhausted, and can hold their elected positions as long as life permits by the people.
Bottom Line Fact : It has been documented that Barack Obama was actually born at the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu, Hawaii... the oldest hospital in Hawaii, established since 1890 (119 years ago).

Those requirements only apply if the child was born overseas, and only for a specific time period (the laws have changed over the years). And there is no legal requirement for both parents to be U.S. citizens.
Despite what AKsilvereagle said, a natural born citizen is merely one who was a citizen at birth. A naturalized citizen is one who becomes a citizen after birth. Being born in this country, or being born overseas where one or both parents are US citizens (some additional conditions may apply) makes you a natural born citizen.

I keep seeing the claim that his sister has a Hawaiian Certification, but I've never seen any documentation to support that. Do you have any?
If there actually was a Hawaii state Certification of Live Birth (COLB) supposedly secured by Barry Soetoro (under the name of "Barack Hussein Obama II") in 2007, and putatively scanned by an anonymous flunky of the Obama campaign in June 2008 to create the computer graphic images (and remember those words: COMPUTER GRAPHIC IMAGES) which were sent by email transmittal to leftist sympathizers at DailyKos and FactCheck, then that physical document itself -
- and I'm talking about a print-on-checksafe-paper, stamped and signed and extremely official legal document, not COMPUTER GRAPHIC IMAGES -
- must have existed in June 2008.
So why has Barry Soetoro been spending huge amounts of money on lawyer's fees (or getting "donated" services of equivalent value from big-name law firms) to stonewall forty-plus lawsuits all over the country, each of them aimed at nothing more than getting that COLB (and perhaps the information in the Hawaii state government's archives amounting to a full birth certificate, which that government should certainly have on file on a birth registered in Honolulu in 1961) into the hands of an officer of the court so that it can be conveyed thence to be evaluated by trained, experienced, qualified forensic documents examiners prepared to determine the completeness, character, validity, provenance, and overall "genuineness or non-genuineness" (in the words of one such forensic documents examiner attesting under oath as to her opinion of what needs to be done here) of that physical document and that information, and then testify under oath as to their findings on the properties of that physical document - and that information - and its value as support for Barry's contention that he had been born in Hawaii and is therefore qualified under Article II, Section 1, Paragraph 5 of the U.S. Constitution to have run for and been elected to the office of President of these United States?
This has been going on now for over 13 months at least, and every month of it has kept a constitutional crisis on the simmer. Soon it MUST boil over. People are angry, and they're getting angrier.
Barry Soetoro has refused to take this issue "off the heat" when all he had to do was have that COLB - not the computer graphic images but the physical document itself - brought into a courtroom, and have it laid on a judge's bench.
So of what the hell is Barry Soetoro so terribly afraid that he has not done this?
Remember the words "computer graphic images." He has NOT shown his "birth certificate." What you have of this person are "computer graphic images."
If computer graphic images prove Barry Soetoro to be qualified as President, then computer graphic images on the TV screen in my living room prove that my 8-year-old grandson is a Jedi Knight.
Remember those words. If that COLB ever existed, Barry's got it. Why won't he cough it up?

The real question is: why have there been 40+ lawsuits filed to get that information from BO? No such thing has been demanded of any other Presidential or Vice-Presidential candidate in our history. I don't think any of them had even been asked to provide a birth certificate, much less submit one to forensic analysis. Why him? And why on no evidence at all?
Have you read any of those lawsuits, or summaries of them? Complete conspiracy theorist garbage! A collection of the wackiest theories imaginable. All the opposing lawyers have to do is ask the judge to follow the law, and the lawsuits are thrown out as frivolous.
