Bally’s Las Vegas today said its Race and Sports Book will reopen on Aug. 26, in time for football season.
The Strip property said it will mark the re-opening with an exclusive VIP viewing area, celebrity appearances by sports figures, “text-to-win” promotions and drink specials.
The recently added VIP Lounge includes sports memorabilia and can accommodate up to 100 guests.
Located in Bally’s Avenue Shoppes, the sports book was temporarily idled March 31 in what was seen as a cost-cutting move.
At that time, Bally's said guests would be served at neighboring sister property Paris Las Vegas.
Bally's, part of Harrah's Entertainment Inc., said at that time it would reopen the book in September.
