One person died this morning after her car rolled over on Nelson Road near the small town of Nelson in southern Clark County.

A female in her early 20s was driving a four-door Toyota sedan that rolled over for unknown reasons, killing her, Nevada Highway Patrol Sgt. Kevin Honea said.

The driver was the only person in the car at the time. She was alive when troopers first reached the accident, but died soon after, Honea said.

Nelson is located near the Lake Mead National Recreation Area between Boulder City and Searchlight.

The vehicle was off the road, so the crash didn’t cause any delays for motorists on State Route 165, Honea said.
