I was very impressed with the content of Cynthia Shiroky’s letter in Tuesday’s Las Vegas Sun about how great a government-run health care plan would be for everyone. Hopefully, she’s correct, but none of us really knows how it will eventually work, so there is a lot of concern.
To quote her, “The government’s option plan would be: nonprofit, administered more efficiently and less expensive.” Sounds great to me, but I can’t help but wonder what other government-run program has ever measured up to her assumptions?
