One week from today the Nevada Patriots, with a boost from the Clark County GOP, will hold a “cap and trade protest” during the National Energy Summit. From a release forwarded by the party: “The summit is hosted by the lovable Harry Reid with a special guest appearance by the ever-cuddly Al Gore ... the same people who told us they wanted to achieve ‘Energy Independence’ by doubling America’s renewable energy resources ... from ONE percent to TWO percent!” And: “(Our) rebuild process will leave Americans with a clear ideological and practical choice between the left’s statist model and our model based on God-given individual liberties.” So God doesn’t like the left? How sad.
