CARSON CITY – Gov. Jim Gibbons will have 5,000 Easter eggs to give children on the front steps of the governor’s mansion on Sunday.
The eggs, to be distributed between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., will have his name on them but not that of his estranged wife, Dawn.
Last year, an estimated 2,000 children visited the mansion to receive an egg from the governor and get their picture taken with him.
