There’s no excuse for Palin’s repeated lies

Sarah Palin has repeatedly used the same line concerning the “Bridge to Nowhere,” that is, “I told Washington thanks, but no thanks ...” We learned earlier that such was not the case, that she originally was all for the bridge until Congress turned against it as did public opinion, at which time she withdrew her approval.

One would think that once the true chain of events was known, she would stop using the line, but according to a news program she used it even Wednesday.

Now, saying something not true the first time might be a mistake. The second time might also be excused, but repeating it over and over is a lie, lie, lie.

Funny but Jules Greenberg answered her own question.

Once Palin was in the AK Gov office, and work with the transportation dept, they determined the need to provide the access to the airport could be better acomplished with the ferry service.

We should welcome someone will to look at the detailed analysis and make a real "decision" (as AK GOV)

Meanwhile Obama and Biden voted for the bridge to no where.

Obama has changed his share of positions after receiving political pressure, like FISA, drilling, Taxing the rich in a recession. Need any more examples.

Obviously, lying is okay with the McCain campaign, such as his ad proclaiming that Obama wants to teach comprehensive sex ed to kindergartners. It sounds like a joke, like a satire, but is a real ad. Why/how can such things happen? Are people really THAT STUPID? Apparently so, or it wouldn't be happening.

I guess that the soldier in the video that Neiman1 linked to would then want to invade all those countries that don't have the same standards of freedom that we do!

We don't have the military or the money for that. No one has ever said that the soldiers in Iraq have not done good service.

However, when you flatten a town with bombs and then the soldiers arrive and hand out food and start rebuilding, the soldiers on the ground feel that they are doing good work. Some, like the one in the video don't put it in the larger perspective. Or the still larger perspective that the justification for the war was a lie (WMD's) and the real intention was control of the oil patch for our corporate oil profits and corporate welfare.

Obama says that he does not have lobbyist on his campaign team yet his top manager is an unregistered federal lobbyist along with 47 others.

Obama lied about his vote against the bill that would have given human legal rights to babies born out of botch abortions. He said he would have voted for the bill if it was the same language as the federal bill. It was.

Obama lied about his relationship with Rezko, the biggest crook in South Chicago. He down played Rezko involvement in his fund raising and it turns out that was his first fund raiser and a major one for many of his runs for office.

He lies about his relationship with the Domestic terrorist Ayers. He has down played it. Now it turns out that he and Ayers started a non-profit organization had a close relationship on building that organization.

He lied about the questionnaire that list his extreme views on gun control and other issues. He once said he never saw it. Now it turns out that is handwriting is on it.

He lies about his spiritual mentor Rev. Wright. Are we to believe that for 20 years he never heard his spiritual mentor say those any of those awful statements or see the pro-Hamas literature in the lobby of the church or in the Hamas anti-Israel rants in the church bulletins?

Obama lied about his non-support of NAFTA while at the same time he sends secret messages to Canadian government that he is really for NAFTA.

Obama lied about being required to sign up for the selective service after high school graduation because in 1979 there was not requirement to sign up for the selective service.

Obama lied about being a Professor of Law. He had to remove that reference from this website and change it to senior lecturer.

When he ran for US Senate on his website he said he was a community organizer for 5 years. He later had to change to 3 years.

Obama has run ads in Michigan that McCain does not support loan guarantees which he does.

Obama’s campaign says Hillary was on the short list but she was not vetted nor given a questionnaire to be filled out.

Obama has claimed that abortion rates did not go down under Bush but the facts show otherwise.

Obama claimed that his acceptance speech was free-of-charge but VIP seats were sold for $1,000 donations and regular seats required donation or volunteer time.

Obama used to claim that he was a first time buyer and that is why he asked for Rezko’s help in buying a house. It turns out that that house was not his first time buying a house.

Obama used to claim to drive an Ethanol fuel car. That turned out to be false.

Obama has claimed that he never accused the McCain campaign of using race against Obama but Obama has played the race card and accused McCain of using race.

There are 100x’s of other examples of Obama lying.

Just a single quote from Obama himself will do.

Oh, and please prove your assertion that David Axelrod is an "unregistered federal lobbyist." That's just an utter lie.

See the problem with believing your list is that you have no credibility around here. You consistantly lie about people's positions (mine in particular), so why should anyone believe anything you wrote there?

Prove that first assertion, though. That oughta be fun. Give me an example of when David Axelrod has lobbied in Washington.

To imply something means to express something indirectly. When she says "I put it on eBay," without going on to say "It did not sell on eBay," that is implying she sold it on eBay.

That's really, really clear.

And her implying the sale confused not only Michelle Bachmann, who told Larry King that she had "SOLD IT ON EBAY" but also JOHN MCCAIN, who told a campaign stop on September 5th:

"You know what I enjoyed the most? She took the luxury jet that was acquired by her predecessor and sold it on Ebay at a profit."

But thanks for exonerating me from your charge. You are right, I never said she sold it on eBay, I said she IMPLIED she sold it on eBay.

She simply implied it sold on eBay. "I put it on eBay." Those were her words. She didn't bother to tell us that it didn't sell on eBay, or that the sold it at a loss.

Those pesky facts didn't get in the way of John McCain OUTRIGHT LYING by saying that she sold it on eBay, at a profit, when it was sold privately, at a loss.
