Woman nabbed for DUI after 3 pedestrians injured

Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008 | 3:11 a.m.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested in connection with DUI after her vehicle collided with three pedestrians Friday night in the southwest Las Vegas Valley.

Metro Police said three men were pushing a 2001 Kia sedan northbound in the right of three travel lanes at 9:11 p.m. at South Durango Drive and West Peace Way when they were hit by a 2004 Ford F-150 traveling in the same lane. That location along Durango is between Flamingo Road and Tropicana Avenue.

The driver of the truck, Camille Lagroe, 23, of Las Vegas, was arrested for felony DUI. Investigators said the impact of the crash then pushed the Kia forward into the intersection.

The pedestrians, identified as Brian Espiritu, 21, Fransisco Anchetas, 22, and Nick Cimini, 21, all of Las Vegas, were transported to University Medical Center with critical injuries, police said. The accident remains under investigation.
