A motorcyclist was injured late Friday after he failed to stop for a red light and crashed into a vehicle at a Las Vegas Boulevard South intersection, Metro Police said this morning.
Authorities responded at 9:50 p.m. Friday to the three-vehicle crash at Las Vegas Boulevard South and Silverado Ranch Boulevard. Police said a southbound 1999 Harley-Davidson motorcycle failed to stop at a red light and collided with the right side of a 2001 Honda Civic traveling westbound on Silverado Ranch.
As the motorcycle went down, it then struck a 2004 Ford Econoline van, police said.
Investigators said the driver of the motorcycle, Falious Chad Arnold, 42, of Elkhart, Texas, was taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries.
The driver of the Civic, Krieg Roxburgh, 23, and the driver of the van, Jason Petrskos, 32, both of Las Vegas, weren't injured.
