End of first quarter:

  • Spring Valley and Bonanza are tied, 0-0.
  • Clark and Sierra Vista are tied, 7-7.
  • Legacy leads Cimarron-Memorial 7-6 thanks to Hall's 96-yard kick return for a touchdown.
  • Cheyenne has 21 and Arbor View has 0. Marcus Sullivan has two touchdowns.
  • Shadow Ridge and Centennial are locked in a 0-0 tie.
  • Foothill has a double-digit lead over Liberty with a score of 13-0 going into the second quarter.
  • Boulder City is ahead of Faith Lutheran, 6-0.
  • Basic has a 6-0 lead over Del Sol.
  • Chaparral is a touchdown ahead of Desert Pines. The score is 7-0 at the end of the first.

Halftime:

  • Spring Valley has pulled ahead and is now leading Bonanza 20-7 at the half.
  • Cimarron-Memorial is up 13-7 at the half thanks to Stephen Nixon's 83-yard touchdown run.
  • Sierra Vista is up 14-7 at the half over Clark thanks to two touchdown runs from Akil Sharp
  • Cheyenne is storming Arbor View. At halftime, the Aggies haven't been able to put up a point and the score is 38-0.
  • At the end of the first quarter, Silverado is leading Green Valley by a touchdown. The score is 7-0.
  • The Gators are rumbling back against the Skyhawks. At halftime, the score is 14-7, Green Valley.
  • Chaparral is pulling farther ahead of Desert Pines. At halftime, the score is 13-0, Cowboys.
  • Centennial has a slight 7-6 lead over Shadow Ridge and Liberty is barely ahead of Foothill, 14-13.

End of third quarter:

  • Spring Valley has 28 points to Bonanza's 7.
  • Cimarron-Memorial has a 13-7 lead over Legacy at the end of the third quarter.
  • Cheyenne is thrashing Arbor View. With the clock running and going into the final quarter, the score is 51-0.
  • Liberty and Foothill are still locked 14-13 going into the fourth, with the Patriots leading.
  • Shadow Ridge is leading Centennial 12-7 at the end of the third.
  • Boulder City is still leading Faith Lutheran with a score of 14-7 at the end of the third.
  • At the end of the third, Chaparral and Desert Pines are tied, 13-13.
  • Sierra Vista is ahead of Clark, 20-14.
  • Silverado is trying its best to make a comeback but the Gators are still ahead. At the end of the third, the score is 14-13, Green Valley.
  • Del Sol has a firm 28-19 lead over Basic.

Final:

  • Cheyenne has pummeled Arbor View, 57-0.
  • Cimarron-Memorial gets a 13-7 win over Legacy.
  • Spring Valley defeats Bonanza, 37-7. Senior Jaques Adams ran 221 yards on 21 carries and had two touchdowns to propel the Grizzlies to a win.
  • Boulder City wins 34-14 over Faith Lutheran.
  • Foothill gets a win over Liberty after a 37-yard field goal by senior Terrance Walls with 1:02 in the final quarter propelled the Falcons to the lead.
  • Centennial wins against Shadow Ridge, 21-12.
  • Sierra Vista gets a 20-14 win over Clark.
  • Green Valley defeats Silverado 31-13. Senior Dallas Halasz had two defensive touchdowns and a blocked extra point to seal the win over the Skyhawks.
  • Del Sol gets a 28-27 win over Basic.
  • After a double-overtime battle, Desert Pines defeats Chaparral, 27-20.

Rancho knocks off Eldorado

Eldorado fell to Rancho, 28-7, on Friday night.

Eldorado head coach Leon Evans said his team had a good first half but played poorly in the second half when Rancho scored 21 points.

“We haven’t scored a lot of points this season and we just need to get in the end zone,” Evans said.

Eldorado travels to Las Vegas High next week while Rancho plays Valley at home.

Palo Verde pummels Mojave

Palo Verde defeated Mojave at home Friday night, 41-0.

“We were up 34-0 at halftime,” Palo Verde head coach Darwin Rost said. “Their coach asked for a running clock and then we scored another touchdown to make it 41-0.”

Rost said two of his players stood out during the evening: senior quarterback Kelly Zurowski went seven-of-seven for 144 yards and senior Chaz Thomas ran for 88 yards.

Palo Verde faces Legacy next Friday.

Gorman gets shutout win

Bishop Gorman shut out Pahrump, 55-0.

Senior running back Kawika Antolin lead Gorman in rushing with 109 yards and two touchdowns. Senior running back Matt Malone rushed for 48 yards with a touchdown.

On defense, senior defensive lineman Justin Chassion had six tackles and a quarterback sack. Senior defensive lineman Cameron Magee had 3 tackles and a quarterback sack.
