After five days of early voting, Democrats are continuing to take a large lead in turnout throughout Clark County.
Meanwhile Republicans have a slight edge in mail-in votes for the Nov. 4 election.
The latest numbers from the county's election department show that as of Wednesday, 113,201 people had cast ballots at early voting polls. The breakdown is 64,851 Democrats (57 percent), 30,192 Republicans (27 percent) and 18,158 (16 percent) voters with no affiliation

The CD2 numbers might be a wee bit more enlightening if they included the figures for the rest of CD2 (otherwise known as all of Nevada except for Clark County).
The most accurate poll of the 2004 election has new results for this race.

we shall see what the voters decide soon - glad that lots of folks are turning out and hopefully some reasonable people will win and in the future the attacks, innuendo, and other negativity will be reduced once the election is found to be a reaction to the garbage and innuendo
the ibd is on the right - is it wrong? hey, I don't know
I just can not understand anyone who would take a chance on putting a 72 year old man in office with the heavy schedule, meetings, travels, whatever crisis crops up. McCain has already shown bad judgment over and over again. And then there's Sarah Palin who has NO judgment.
Maverick McCain is not. He is an old man, living in the past and still bleeding us with his status of POW 43 years ago.
