Boy, 9, suffers minor injuries when school bus hits bicycle

Police investigate after a school bus knocked a 9-year-old boy off his bicycle Tuesday morning near Green Valley Parkway and Legacy Drive.

A 9-year-old boy suffered only minor injuries when the bike he was riding along Green Valley Parkway was clipped by a Clark County School District bus near Warm Springs road this morning, Henderson Police said.

The boy was knocked off his bike by the bus as it attempted to make a right turn from Legacy Drive onto Green Valley Parkway about 8:50 a.m, police said.

The boy, who was crossing the intersection, suffered only a sore leg and was taken home by his mother, police said.

The names of the bus driver and the boy were not released. Nobody was charged in the accident, police said.
