Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run collision

Metro Police are looking for a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision with a pedestrian late Friday in the northeastern Las Vegas Valley.

Authorities responded at 10:39 p.m. after the victim was found on Dolly Lane 257 feet south of Judson Avenue, investigators said. That location is northeast of Lake Mead Boulevard's intersection with Lamb Boulevard.

Police said evidence indicates a man was in the roadway near the west curb of Dolly when an unknown vehicle struck the pedestrian and left the scene southbound on Dolly. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators were working to identify the victim early this morning.

This is the 106th fatal collision this year in Metro Police jurisdiction.
