Voter turnout in Nevada has been steady, according to Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller’s office.

As of 3 p.m., more than 65 percent of Clark County residents had voted either at the polls today or during the early voting period that ended Friday.

Fifty-seven percent of voters had voted as of 10:30 a.m. this morning.

In the county, 140,153 residents had voted between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to the Clark County registrar’s office.

Early voting in Clark County brought out 391,805 of 815,077 total registered voters.

Walsh said voting has been running smoothly throughout Nevada with no major glitches.

“We had calls about a voting machine here and there but nothing you wouldn’t expect with thousands of voting machines,” Walsh said.

Clark County has 339 polling places set up today with 4,500 voting machines.

In July, Miller spearheaded the Election Integrity Task Force to investigate questionable voter registration practices, voter fraud and intimidation before and on Election Day. Walsh said the task force has received “no significant calls” today.
