It’s possible Yvonne Atkinson Gates still lives in Nevada she has had questions about her residency before but don’t call her a superdelegate from the state. “This is important for people to know, I am not a delegate of Nevada,” she told the Reno Gazette-Journal. “I’m an at-large delegate (chosen by the DNC). I’m not bound to go with what Nevada decided.” She has been a superdelegate because of her leadership of the Democratic National Committee’s black caucus. But since abruptly resigning as county commissioner before reports of a police probe surfaced, Atkinson Gates has kept a low profile; her husband and son also have faced various allegations. So remember, when it comes to superdelegates, she is not from Nevada; she is still at large.
