Metro Police are looking for an armed man who robbed a business Thursday afternoon in the central part of the Las Vegas Valley.

Investigators said the man entered the business at about 2 p.m. in the area of Charleston Boulevard and Rancho Road. He then went to the gaming and slot area, where he put a gun to a clerk's back, police said.

The man took money from the cash drawer, then pointed the gun at clerks standing near other cash registers and took more money, authorities said.

Police said the robber then left the business, which Metro Police weren't identifying this morning.

The robber was described as black, about 18 to 25 years old, 150 pounds and 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10. He was wearing a black shirt with long sleeves, black pants, white shoes, a doo rag and had a shirt tied around his head.

Anyone with information about the robbery is being asked to call the Metro Police robbery section at 828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
