Before we give the Big Three any money to keep our people working, Congress should make the U.S. automakers show how many truck and auto bodies have been imported from Canada and how many motors have been built in Mexico.
If the Big Three are going to use an excuse to get money that they want to keep our people working, maybe they should go back to building all of the vehicles’ parts here.

In response to Mr. Richard A. Brown of Pahrump:
Canada, the worlds third largest automobile market, at 1/10th the US population, has committed $6 billion dollars to the auto industry.
I resent Mr. Brown intamating that Canada is freeloading off the backs of the US worker. He doesn't regognze that the US auto industry is a North American industry and that the Big Three profits generated in Canada, flow back to the US.
His protectionist and isolationist stance will only further this global economic crisis.
