Authorities today are asking for the public's help in identifying an armed man wanted in connection with the robbery of a convenience store last month in the eastern Las Vegas Valley.

Metro Police released surveillance video images this morning of the man, who entered the store at about 7:20 a.m. on Nov. 22 in the area of Flamingo Road and Mountain Vista Street. He approached the counter, pulled a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, authorities said.

The robber also demanded Marlboro cigarettes, police said.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, between 20 and 25 years old, and about 5-foot-7 and 140 to 150 pounds. He left the store and got into the passenger's side of a black Ford sport utility vehicle -- possibly an Expedition -- that had dark, tinted windows, silver trim and an unknown commemorative license plate.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call the Metro Police robbery section at 828-3591 or CrimeStoppers at 385-5555.
