Location: Round Rock, Texas

Year opened: 2000

Construction cost: $25 million

How financed: $8.4 million in revenue bonds backed by the city of Round Rock’s hotel/motel tax revenue and cash from RSR Sports, owner of the Express.

Etc.: Home of the Triple-A Round Rock Express of the Pacific Coast League, Dell Diamond features seating for an additional 3,000 fans on a grass berm behind the outfield fence ... Stadium features 30 private suites, a swimming pool, hot tub, basketball court and children’s play area ... Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan is a co-owner of the Express (as well as the Corpus Christi Hooks of the Double-A Texas League).

Coca-Cola Park

Location: Allentown, Pa.

Seating capacity: 10,000

Year opened: 2008

Construction cost: $48.4 million

How financed: Combination of county bonds sale (partially backed by a raise in the hotel/motel tax) and an $18.5 million state grant.

Etc.: Home of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs of the Triple-A International League, Coca-Cola Park is the newest Triple-A stadium ... Team nickname is derived from pig iron, the raw iron melted down to make the steel that was once the product of the leading industry in the area ... Team moved from Ottawa to Allentown before the 2008 season.

Chukchansi Park

Location: Fresno

Seating capacity: 12,500

Year opened: 2002

Construction cost: $46 million

How financed: Public money.

Etc.: Home of the Fresno Grizzlies of the Pacific Coast League ... In addition to baseball, the stadium is used for soccer, concerts and Supercross races, and can be rented as an exposition center ... Built as an anchor for downtown redevelopment ... The Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino bought the naming rights to the stadium for $16 million over 15 years.

Isotopes Park

Location: Albuquerque

Seating capacity: 12,215

Year opened: 2003

Construction cost: $25 million

How financed: Publicly financed through general obligation bond and cash loan from the New Mexico Finance Authority.

Etc.: Home of the Albuquerque Isotopes of the Pacific Coast League ... Stadium was built on the basic structure of the old Albuquerque Sports Stadium after voters rejected a proposal to build a new downtown baseball stadium ... Team name Isotopes comes from the fictional minor league team in the animated TV series “The Simpsons.”

Reno baseball stadium

Location:Reno

Seating capacity: 6,500

Year opening: 2009

Construction cost: $50 million

How financed: Private bonds sale backed by a countywide 2 percent car rental tax and cash from the stadium developers.

Etc.: Tucson Sidewinders of the Pacific Coast League plan to move to Reno for the start of the 2009 season (if the stadium is completed) ... SK Baseball broke ground on the still-unnamed stadium in February ... Stadium is part of a proposed $200 million downtown redevelopment project ... Plans call for seating for an additional 3,500 on grass areas beyond the outfield walls.
