Regarding Chuck Godman's Sept. 26 letter, "Bush is ignoring will of the people":
Yes, President Bush is ignoring the people. He has always done so.
Our president has always kept information from the people, assaulted our civil rights and more. What really surprises me about this is that the American people have done so little on their own behalf.
It is obvious and has been obvious that Bush is not a team player. He does believe this is his government and he is determined to destroy our Constitution - and he has fellow believers in the political ranks. So why have we, the American public, failed to demand his impeachment?
Don't be afraid that Bush will just crown himself king. He is already working on that. He will involve us in a greater war (possibly with Iran) and then declare martial law so that he can stay in power. And what will the American people do?
