Letter: Bush dressed right for his visit to Iraq

It is with utter disdain and disgust the I respond to Mark Issacs' Sept. 6 letter, "Bush should have shown solidarity."
Whenever the "Bush baiters" cannot find anything else to blame on the president and condemn him for, they resort to the pettiness that Mr. Issacs has shown.
What difference does it make that President Bush was dressed in a comfortable short - sleeve d shirt when he recently visited the troops in Iraq? It would seem to me that was the prudent and realistic thing to do. It was 115 degrees.
If you have a choice, Mr. Issacs, are you going to wear a jump suit or combat fatigues when the occasion does not call for it? Would you wear a swimsuit or shorts to go ice fishing?
I was ready to blame his remarks on liberals, but I doubt that most liberals would even agree with him.
