Letter: Stop whining about airplane noise

Despite claims to the contrary, the only people who seem to be registering complaints about all of the flight noise seem to be coming from the "have" section of town.

Since the letter writers do not seem to be getting the message, I will spell it out more succinctly:

1) No one cares about your plight, much less your whining. No one is going to rally to your defense, despite what you might hope.

2) In a city that's undergoing steady growth, we all make some kind of sacrifice regardless of where we are living.

You are not special despite what you might think. If this is the worst of your problems, you should be counting your blessings.
