Regarding the Las Vegas Sun's Aug. 31 editorial, "Targeting fraud in Iraq":
When I read the statement in the editorial that said "Americans should be outraged by the sheer immensity of this scandal" I found it difficult to not scream out loud: We are outraged!
And it's certainly not limited to this mess; we've got a lot to choose from. But let me ask you this: Just how do you obtain action against the perpetrators when they're the ones running this fiasco called our government?
We're saddled with incompetence at every level and nonexistent leadership; the outraged can't help but wonder and be justifiably concerned about what's coming next.
