Letter: So this president is riding to the rescue?

Thank God George Bush made it to California on Thursday, just seven days after the fires started and two days after Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger pretty much got everything in order.

That's a major improvement over his delayed visit to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina struck. He has learned. He's not stupid after all. He can be our hero again.

Certainly his California visit is not just a make up job for New Orleans (which is still a mess) or just a photo op to show us he loves us all (except maybe not the poor children who would be served by a non vetoed health insurance plan).

Be thankful , everyone. We are so very fortunate to have a president like George Bush.
