In hearing and reading about those senators and representative s wandering around the nation seeking the presidency, the thought came to me: What right do they have to desert their post in Congress to take the time for all this? Don't the House and Senate take roll calls?
In no other profession or occupation could anyone do this and get away with it. Shouldn't their salaries be diminished by all the lost time? Apparently they're not very essential, otherwise they'd be present for the job.
