FLASHPOINT for Jan 08, 2007
Monday, Jan. 8, 2007 | 7:23 a.m.
I, like many Nevadans, was honored last week to receive my invitation in the mail: "The Nevada Inauguration Committee requests the pleasure of your company at the inauguration celebrations honoring Governor Jim Gibbons and First Lady Dawn Gibbons." How kind of Jim and Dawn to think of me. I feel they think of me often. And I can attend either the event in Las Vegas at the Venetian (uh oh, the unions won't like that) or in Reno at the Silver Legacy. Or I could attend both for the bargain price of $110. And I can bring a guest. I am thinking this might be a fun event - or events - to attend. So consider this my RSVP for both balls, Jim and Dawn, and I will be bringing a date. Her name is Dema Guinn.
