Are we not to see through this recycling "plan"? The bottom line is to reduce trash/garbage collection to once a week .
The current three-crate system for recycling works very well if they are used. We recycle paper, plastic , cans and glass, all picked up every two weeks. People just need to use the system.
Will glass recycling be omitted with implementation of the new plan ? If so, how does that make sense?
The current twice-weekly garbage collection works . Don't mess it up. If Republic Services wants to run a recycle truck on a weekly schedule, let it. Why would the Clark County commissioners need to approve that? I will continue to set my recycle crates out every other week as usual.
