In the Aug. 14 Sun, in a report about residents not wanting a magnet school in their neighborhood, Las Vegas Councilman Steve Ross was misidentified as Gary Ross.
In Friday's story on judicial elections, it was incorrectly reported that two Henderson justices of the peace and one North Las Vegas justice of the peace would be facing reelection in 2008. In Henderson, one justice of the peace is running for reelection, and there will be an open election for a newly created seat. In North Las Vegas, the justice of the peace race will be for a newly created seat.
A story Sunday about the solar energy industry mistakenly reported that Kathleen Drakulich is general counsel for Sierra Pacific Resources. Drakulich is no longer general counsel for the utility company. She is now a partner at the law firm of Kummer Kaempfer Bonner Renshaw & Ferrario.
