It's easy to tell why President Bush and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales are such good friends. They have so much in common. Both are totally unqualified for their jobs, both have a problem telling the truth, and both regard the American people as idiots.
It seems that avoiding perjury charges requires lots of rehearsal when you are called to testify about things you don't want to talk about. "I don't recollect," "I don't remember it that way," " That's not my recollection." Better to look like an idiot than to be indicted for perjury .
Attorney General Gonzales stated that he "could not recollect" or "did not remember" the answers to approximately 64 questions posed by members of a Senate committee. Isn't it comforting to know we have people of such high intelligence running America . Another great choice by George W. Bush.
