Letter: Congressman who has clear view of war

How ironic that in the April 14 paper is a letter to the editor from F. Jay Harrell saying that Democrats will bring shame on our troops if the Democrats succeed in bringing them home before this war in Iraq is won. On the opposite page is a column by Francis X. Clines, who talks about Congressman Patrick Murphy , who actually served in Iraq with the 82nd Airborne.

This young congressman is certainly not a traitor or unpatriotic, and yet he has voted for a timeline to begin withdrawing the troops.

Now, who has a clearer view of the picture and whose opinion is more valid and believable?
