Letter: Bush demonstrates fiscal irresponsibility

President Bush has the gall to criticize the Democrats as scoundrels who are bent on raising taxes.

Virtually everything that he touches turns to garbage sooner or later, with a great burden to the American taxpayers and all of their progeny as far as we can see.

Do the Republicans condone this waste? I thought they were strong on fiscal responsibility.

Bush has added more to the national debt during his time in office than any Democrat could do in any term in Congress.

Remember who balanced the budget last and in doing so left Bush a nice nest egg!
