Letter: Candidate short on common sense
Monday, Oct. 23, 2006 | 7:35 a.m.
Common sense is the rarest of public behaviors in this day and age.
How could any citizen, let alone a candidate for governor of the state of Nevada, assist a falling-down drunk to a vehicle and enable the person to become a public menace and endangerment to all who are on the road? I expect more from our public officials.
That begs the question: If driving drunk is bad - why do bars have parking lots?
