It's hard for me to believe the public accepts President Bush's "cut and run" garbage.
I think President Bush must be thinking about himself when he cut and ran to the Air National Guard, to keep from going to Vietnam, or Vice President Dick Cheney, when he took four deferments, to stay away from Vietnam.
When they were young men, they were not so patriotic. Now, 30 years later, they want us to believe they are the toughest men in Washington. Now they send our brave young men to fight in a war when they did not have the guts to do so when they were young men.
